Send my old broken soccer cleats to adidas and get a gift certificate from them?
My adidas cleats broke before a season and I heard that you could send broken cleats in to whichever company you bought them from , in my case adidas, and they will send you a gift certificate for a specific amount of money. Is this true and has anyone done this?

How long are adidas products under warranty?
adidas footwear and apparel is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase. Please keep your sales receipt as verification of purchase date. This warranty does not cover damage that occurs during transport or while in storage, results from misuse of the product, improper fitting or sizing of products, or normal wear and tear. adidas is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages incurred due to loss of use of the product.
What do I do if I want to return a product?
If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your adidas product, we ask that you return it to your retailer for inspection. We have a liberal return policy with authorized dealers and we encourage them to do everything possible to accommodate you locally for your convenience. If you are unable to take care of the problem with the retailer, Canadian consumers experiencing problems with adidas footwear and apparel products can e-mail us at adidas.warranty@adidascan.com or call 1.800.268.7767.
